Remember: It doesn’t matter what sounds you use, it’s how you use them, and if you make them sound good
There are a ton of high quality plugins that are free like LABS, Vital, hell, even some FL Studio stock plugins
If you want to buy expensive plugins like Serum, Nexus, and Opus, go ahead, I ain’t stopping you. But keep in mind that having expensive plugins doesn’t mean your music will automatically be good

Maybe this is a difference between a "beat maker" and music producer who does sound design but you can make FL keys sound godly and go hard if you know audio engineering and proper sound design. It's not hard. I agree that YouTube should be used as a way to learn but I think a big thing to be noted is understanding why audio sounds the way it does. Learning the core process and not just trying to copy a path. Scorch is cool but I'm still gonna run it and plenty of my other instruments through RC 20 and my patcher presets to find a more unique sound that isn't constantly reused by everyone

To be fair guys i own nexus 4 and Omnisphere legit copies! The best advice is set up a template and favorite all of the presets! It saves time and headaches 🤙🏻

Tip nr 4, be as pretentious as you can be, like that guy. Or, just have fun with whatever you're doing. There are no bad sounding plugins anymore unless intentional. And do some music theory, that's helpful. Have fun!
