with the hd texture pack this game looked wonderful on pc, i love photorealism and crysis 2 is still competitive for today standards, cryengine is one engine with the most realistic colors, and great physics

At the time, I think only Battlefield 3 came out pretty strong in its graphical department which kinda/sorta gave Crysis 2 a scare.

I wish for a PC melting Crysis 4 if only Crytek can get their shit together

@Santar4 you still have a shadow when your invisible because you're still blocking the light from passing, the way the suit cloaks itself is by putting tiny mirror like particles on the surface of the suit that reflects the light around it. hold a mirror in the direction of the sun and it will sill cast a shadow

@MrWrtoip the 30 secounds is the trail, the payed version (30 USD) records as long as you want, it's 1080p so it's obvious that it takes up alot of memory, and the speed of the game may be slowed down depending of your computer specs

nope, its a cloaking device and the way a cloaking device works is that it bends light partially or completely around the surface of the material. this would mean that when the cloaking device is activated what you would actually see is the event directly behind it, so a shadow is impossible to have in this situation

@Santar4 naturally there is no 100% transparent material so even glass will cast some shadow, although much lighter shadow then non-transparent object.

@Santar4 Yes, because even though you are invisible you are still solid. You're body is still blocking the rays of light from the sun, therefore creating a shadow regardless of your invisibility.

Consoles can Never compete with a good PC and that's not even top of the line.

I love this game, listen to the echos from the gunfire, very realistic, the lighting, shading, rendering. The best graphics to date, Cryengine 3 is a work of genius

OMFG... Do u guys not relise that crysis 2 (PC) was suppose to come out in July 17th. Instead they decided to release it earlier along with the PS3 and 360. But Crytek are still working on the PC version. So in there next Patch Release that will be more like a new whole game. Crytek are going to put DX11 and also they are testing DX12 at the moment. They are also pushing up the Detail in Objects so everything is 3D except the usual...Grass, Leaves etc. Also the Smoke is going to be 3D not 2D
