why is people saying this card is a dissappointment?, outperforms the 970 for around 50 dollars less with full 4 gigs, nvidia fucked up the consumers with the pricing of the "founders edition" I highly doubt we could find a gtx 1070 for the initial msrp, so that card is around the double of this rx 480, I'm an nvidia user but they went full anti consumerisim this time, I'm so pissed off

This card is perfect! You can basically play any game completely cranked up at full 1080p. Asides from a game here and there, but not a big deal turning shadows down to low or something to compensate. Seems perfect! Here in Canada, the 480 8gb is running about 329, which is literally the exact price I paid for my 2gb SSC 960 last year. 970s which run as good a this go for about 350-450 depending on the model. So even if you find a model of the same price, it's 3.5gb vs 8gb. It's so great because it brings 8gb cards to literally everyone now. There's absolutely no reason to buy a 960-970 anymore. Very happy with this, can't wait to pick mine up :] Thanks for the great coverage as always

Do side to side comparison FX 8350 vs FX 6350 vs I5 4460(i5 6500).

But for RX 470, RX 480 and GTX 1060(3GB-6GB) the FX 8350 is perfect.

It's good to see some tech people still giving AMD's Bulldozers FX series CPUs some due credit. They might not be the best out there, but they are some of the best budget performers. Thank you for this nice video and benchmarks!
