I want to be kind.
I noticed that if you go to daily mass scripture is very present .
Assention Presents has a series called Bible in a year. Podcasts that one can relisten to.

What was the name of the commentary you mentioned? Sounded along the lines of Katana Alriet?

Yeah nice guy, Hebrews 4:12. I wonder when you first memorized that (covenant week formation...??) "Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ" -St. Jerome (Oh wait, you know that too, don't you?)

COWBOY LOGIC 101:
That's a darn good idea. I grew up in a normal Roman Catholic home about 50 years ago and it never occurred to any of us to ever read the Bible. Nor any of my Roman Catholic relatives or friends. And apparently it's been that way in the Roman Church for the last thousand years, give or take a few.
Fortunately it seems that in the last couple of decades the Roman church is encouraging it's members to actually read the Bible. It's about time. That is a giant step forward. I only wish my parent's generation would have experienced the same thing. It would have changed their lives.
Thank God Almighty for the Protestant Reformation. Still bearing fruit after 500 years. I'm not being sarcastic. Just stating facts and giving praise where praise is due.
And, just by the way, if you want to see the fruits of 500 years of unfettered Roman Catholicism, just cross the southern border of Protestant good ol' US of A and check out all of Latin America. You will find poverty, corruption, idolatry and an almost complete and total ignorance of the Word of God.
Thank God Almighty for the Protestant Reformation. 😎
