Oh, man. I'm a South Korean. In Korea, there's a proverb "사람 사는 데는 다 똑같아", meaning "life is similar everywhere in which people live". I don't expect North Koreans to be desperately starving or suffering. At the same time, I believe they don't have international reputation like South Korea does. They have problems when it comes to traveling abroad, but inside their country everything is organised like anywhere else.

If you want to make a video that makes a country look poor and suffering, you can do it even in the US. You can show all the homeless, dirty streets, and drugs. However, that doesn't mean the US population is generally in that dire condition. The US economy is deteriorating because US is about to default on its debt, but most of its population does not live that poor yet.

These are most likely all taken in Pyongyang and not the outlying provinces.

They obviously only show tourists the good sides of the country (sometimes propaganda actors) you are literally not allowed to leave Pyongjang (only city with real lights, look at a night image from space) and are always with a tourguide.

This is reason why I never believe in other YouTubers and news. They say it like they are worse this and that in a childish way possible.
I knew North Korea is not that bad country which is being told. Like how could they even do TikTok videos if their were no internet connection. Normal life is actually not possible in any direction around the world.
But unlike other YouTubers, your explanation is always the best. I'll always love to watch your channel. Just because you always think with neutral perspective. Your explanations are far better than others.
