Fragrance & Fashion Masterclass, GIVEAWAY, + Discover Your Signature Scent with Perfume Psychology

In this video, we will be discussing the different types/families of fragrances, the psychology of perfume, selecting a scent based on style, a fashion-to-perfume analysis, how to wear fragrance in terms of application & placement, as well as how to store it in your home or on the go. Through this, you will gain an understanding of how to enhance your image and elevate your style to new heights with your selection.

Discovering your true self through fashion to show up in the world with your inner beauty in tune with your outer presence is a journey that is both riveting and transformative. It is far more than indulging in clothes. Perfume is one-of-a-kind when it comes to developing your personal style due to its intangible nature and connection to memories in the mind through the limbic system. It has the power to not only express as clothing does but ignite and inspire feelings that in turn may transform an outfit into a complete look. As Christian Dior once said, "Perfume is the finishing touch to a dress."

To quote my aunt the best gifts you can give are always Perfume or gold.💙
Edit: My mother and I describe scents not by notes but by people or outfits.

Video Request: Can you please do a video on how to choose the right watch based on personality, style, and way of life? Most guys nowadays just wear a digital sport watch. Would you present a strong case for a mechanical dress watch as a must have for every man? Dive watches are very durable (due to their water resistance). Would you argue that a lady should consider adding a classic dive watch to their collection? What is the best way to pair a watch with an outfit? I'm very interested in hearing your opinion.

I recently ordered ysl libre intense after going on a hunt for a new scent. After being told it smelled like how I was expected to smell I knew it was the right one. I did however, grow curious as to what vibe that scent and I gave off

OMG for a long time I was wondering if you'd do anything about perfumes in relation to personal style and here it is!! It's like you've read my mind hehe. 😍
I just got more into the perfumes months ago because I found it fascinating how different people have different opinions on a scent in the comments on the Frangrantica website, and how some of the perfumes I dislike other people found really pleasant and vice versa. Now makes so much sense why I gravitate towards certain scents (I prefer softer and sweeter ones, especially floral fruity gourmands that are not too overpowering), and why a friend from years back told me a scent was "so me" (it was Moonlight by Ariana Grande) when she smelled it.
Love the video! 😍

fascinating video; I love tom ford wood wood and ysl Black opium for the autumn winter. For summer j'adore dior is my favorite. I have a very sensibile personality and this video was very helpful for me; my husband start using tom ford too ...

This reminded me of my old favourite, Burberry Brit Rhythm. It had very little staying power but the scent and aesthetic was me in a bottle. I hope one day I will find my unicorn of a fragrance, but until then, I'll enjoy the 20 odd random ones I have collected so far in my adult life 😅

For me there are only two scents. The classics - Chanel No 5 and the original Joy by Jean Patou. Sadly they no longer make the original Joy but it’s still sometimes available on the resale market. To me, it is the ultimate old money elegant scent. If I catch a whiff of it, the lady wearing that scent is always impeccably dressed, poised, and self assured. What could be better?

This was a wonderful video, I'm so happy it's finally out. <3

As for the giveaway: I doubt you'll remember my (very long) comment in one of your much earlier videos about trying to figure out my style. Since then it's gotten easier, doing research, trying different cuts and colors and being open just to see what, I feel, suits. At this point, I'd say my style is feminine, elegant and bold, with that boldness being because I don't care about trends (never have) and simply wear what suits me. Which tends to be things that may not be in fashion "at the moment" but look normal on me. There is also usually a touch of toughness to to outfit: chains, leather, studs, black. I've found adding that "tough" or "masculine" element just a little enhances the feminine and the element, itself, doesn't look masculine. An example would be a black maxi dress I recently bought. It has a pleated chiffon top layer that is printed with metallic gold roses, medium sized, and the collar is a thick, solid, gold (fake, obviously) choker. I got a ton of compliments when I wore it. The material, cut, drape and rose print are super feminine but the stark black and thick metal collar are more tough.
