i've been meaning to toss out the junk that's cluttering my desk. Just did it

advice: for PILLOWS - if you don't have a pillow cover (not pillowcase, a water and dust mite proof cover) you NEED to wash your pillows once a year. This means if this is news to you. GO AND WASH YOUR PILLOW NOW. The entire pillow goes into the washing machine.

Once you've done that, get pillow covers for all of your pillows. That way your pillows stay clean and you can just toss the pillow covers instead. Best investment IMO

There's also a stain/spill cover for your bed. That is another godsend, especially if you have cats or pets.
