This video features me testing the new Ridgid 18V EXP 12Ah Max Output Battery in the new Ridgid Track Saw. I'm testing the Ridgid Track Saw on a 2x10 and comparing the 12Ah to the 6Ah battery. I'm pushing the saw as fast as I can without slowing the blade speed.

What would you use a track saw for, plywood or thicker 2x material?

Can you hear the difference between the 2 batteries?

You can here the second battery rip through stud without losing much rpm, very neat😊

It must be Ok if it is ‘Oakley Approved!’ Love that handsome guy! 😊

YES, One can hear the difference. The saw seems to struggle a bit nonetheless? But if the cut quality is good, and the saw is a pleasure to use, then one can maybe justify the slower cutting? Besides, I dont think a track saw is supposed to go ripping through material at warp speeds anyhow? 😆 Thanks for the link Mark!
