Dr. Murphy, Thank you for your many contributions to our profession. Your library of work is a treasure trove in my opinion. Your seminars are invaluable for clinical practitioners. Perhaps Exploring Chiropractic could forward my question. My question regards managing Medicare patients with chiropractic spinal disorders. Outside of the cases where you have a good working relationship with a patient's existing PCP, ortho, neuro, physiatrist a/o pain doc, how to you navigate the Medicare restrictions in place regarding RX imaging, blood panels or other diagnostics, eg NCV/EMG? Meaning, the patient is already established with physicians who won't accommodate your requests.
