Hey guys!
My name is SpeedyMouse and welcome back to Subnautica.
In this useful Subnautica guide, I will be giving you different ways to overcome your fear of Subnautica.
A while back, I posted a Subnautica guide to help you guys overcome your fear of Subnautica. That video did pretty well and helped a lot of people. Now, you guys are requesting I do another video similar to it, kind of like a part two, but better. So that’s what I’m gonna do.
Everyone who plays Subnautica and Subnautica Below Zero is scared of it. From the popular YouTubers down to your average player. It’s designed to scare you. Today, I’ll be showing multiple ways you can overcome this fear of Subnautica and press forward towards the goal of completing the game. Yeah. That’s what I’m trying to do. I’m trying to help you guys beat Subnautica. So let’s do this.

The scariest part for me is knowing an aggressive leviathan is near, but not knowing where it is. Other than that the game is pretty chill.

If you manage to find it, the Blood Kelp Trench is absolutely amazing. It’s very compact, much less hostile fauna, no leviathans, solid resources, and two entrances to the Lost River, with neither of the 2 segments of the Lost River being that dangerous. Sure it’s a massive pain getting the Cyclops through, but overall is a MASSIVE step up from the normal Blood Kelp Zone and I don’t see many people talk about it

When i just started playing I made a radiation suit and cluelessly started wondering around the eurora with my sea glider looking for the entrance (yes, I didn't even know where it is). That day I found out about the existence of the reaper leviathan... I was scared to leave the safe zone after that.

When I’m going into areas with leviathans, I just play the spongebob “tomfoolery” song. It makes a ghost leviathan appearing seem oddly comical.
But once I’m in a prawn suit (of which I named Duke Nukem), I play heavy metal and beat the SHIT out of leviathans that cross me. I have slain 23 so far.

TIP ! : Be sure to save somewhere safe when going in to the dangerous places and when you die quit to the menu and then go in to your game again then you will start where you just saved and have the same materials when you saved.

I play this with my boyfriend... he takes over when I panic and helps me plan bases but let's me do the things I'm comfortable doing... while still pushing me to do more.

Tip: You can easily dodge most of the leviathans when they charge you. Just stay calm and still and when they charge and are kinda close, quickly swim to the side. It work for reaper too, but you have to be careful to be far enough so he doesnt grab you while you're trying to dodge.

You said stay away from the sea treaders but I would say the opposite. They are not hostile and when you go to their feet every time they take a step they create a shale outcrop so it’s an insanely easy way to get tones of diamond, lithium and gold. It is also infinite

This is great, so much helpful advice! Might I add: baby steps. Take your time and don't rush into anything. When exploring a new biome it doesn't matter if you only go a few meters in and then return to base, as long as you come back. Also some nice music helps too!
