Many people seem to label this just an ordinary relationship, completely missing the point that a toxic one is being portrayed here. Full of gaslighting, ghosting, and manipulation, sides Cassels character, and his “victim” becoming too obsessed and believing this must be love in her attempts to tie him down to prove herself her sunk cost fallacies weren’t for the loss. This movie helped me see the dark sides and overcome a codependent relationship I was in for 12 years. I’m happy the director is so subtly bringing awareness to this complex issue when people fail to see the person in front of them in true colours.

This movie was really good. He stressed that woman out so bad. 😢😢😢 She was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Geez. I felt her pain while watching this. 😖😖😖
