Found a GPS Tracker on her car

Customer stated that she suspected that there was a GPS Tracker on her vehicle. After several attempts to locate a potential tracking device, we did find something that was very suspicious and definitely didn't belong on the vehicle.
Just goes to show, don't judge a book by it's cover.

I remember having a neighbor who always showed up at the store when I was there and I thought nothing of it. Then, he would somehow wind up next to me in traffic on my ride home from work. It only occurred to me that it was probably not coincidence because it happened even if I took a different route home, or what store I'd go to. He was very distraught about me moving away. What's crazy is that I never told him directly about my plans to move. I moved to a neighborhood across town, and our coincidental meetups continued, even though I shopped on the side of town I relocated to. Looking back, I should have checked the vehicle for a tracker.

At my last mechanic job we had a lady who packed all her stuff into her Impreza and asked us to look for a tracker, she was moving across country to escape her abusive boyfriend

My mechanic just talked about this and found one on one of his clients right before she was killed. Turns out it was the only think that convicted her killer. My mechanic and his wife have started working with a non profit because of it. So sad people would go to these lengths or even do this🤯

Saw another video about a mechanic finding a tracker on a client's car. After that he started to check for bugs everytime he worked on a car, and sure enough he had several female clients with unknown trackers on their car. He also said that he often found more than one tracker on a car, and now when he finds one, he examines the car thoroughly to search for more trackers. That man is blessing. The world and people are fucking scary.

Friend of mine had this happen. I suggested they pressure wash the undercarriage and out it popped. Licensed, registered tracker. Turns out her ex boyfriend, a cop, was using their department connection and the cop had a friend get it. Cop was placed on admin leave.

My mechanic found a tracker in our car a few years ago. We had some problems with steering and i dont remember what exactly was wrong but they had to take the dash apart in some way. Inside they found a tracker described as being roughly the size of a notebook. I got the call at work that they found it and asked me if it was mine. We had a relative that was a mechanic, so we immediately knew how. This person had done work on my car twice by their own insistance. This relative had been recently causing issues. They show up at random family events and have gone to full screaming meltdowns if i refused to leave them alone with my car or allow them to look at it. We were very grateful to our mechanic for exposing the strange and dangerous behavior of someone we hadn't given a second thought. We do not contact this person and alerted other family members to this issue. Sometimes it's the people we least expect to hurt us, and sometimes its th people we least expect to protect us. I have no doubt without the mechanics help something terrible would have happened. To clarify the tracker had been there maybe two months. Stay safe

She probably never went back to the mechanic because whoever put the tracker on her knows that she goes there. More than likely she moved so the person can't find her. I really hope she is okay. Also to anyone who has been in this situation, please take it seriously and be safe.

Unless there is a court order, it should be a felony to put a tracker on another person’s property.

I’m a self employed mechanic and have been asked a couple of times to do the same thing (especially since I’m former military) for a couple of female customers, one of them who is a lifelong personal friend of mine. Sure as shit, I found one on hers using a “bug” detector (frequency finder) that was on TOP of her gas tank. Her abusive ex boyfriend was stalking her, which all of us already knew, but couldn’t figure out how he kept showing up EVERYWHERE she went. Even when it was spontaneous, spur of the moment and unannounced, like when I just showed up one night and took her out to shoot some pool. After I found it, I had some fun and stuck it in the bumper of a local police car 😂. I started to put it on a freight train first, but had a better idea with that one lol!

As a police dispatcher, this is a FREQUENT ISSUE, especially for young girls…. Traffickers use them, but most often, it was stalkers that most of the women I dealt with KNEW the person. I
However I can’t count the times some rando who saw the girl on IG or in the store, just gets fixated. This is REAL …I’m in NJ fyi.
