Indeed Gives Massive Warning Towards Job Market

When the person who is supposed to help you find a job finds out they no longer have one themselves, that's a warning sign about the economy. Those have been proliferating lately and mostly focused on employment. This fits nicely (in a bad way) into other late cycle signals coming across including a sharp rise in consumer credit delinquencies.

Coming out of facing alot, I knew two things about the stock market: It caused the Great Depression, and the fastest way to make a million on the markets was to start with two million. And then the Great Recession happened only a few years later. So yeah, I wish someone had better explained it to me earlier in life. Having a good entry and exit strategy will make you succeed in the stock market.

I recognize the hardships that come with economic struggles like unemployment, job loss, inflation, housing market instability, political uncertainties, and the global impact of conflicts and wars. Making ends meet during such times can be incredibly challenging. To navigate this difficult period, considering alternative job prospects, enhancing skills through online courses, and expanding your network can heighten the chances of securing employment. Moreover, prudent budgeting, exploring available financial aid programs, and seeking assistance from community organizations can offer some relief. How are you currently tackling these challenges? Have you implemented any specific strategies to cope?

I work for indeed, most jobs are old and data is not properly updated, we do that because having the data drives traffic, but you are lucky if 30% of all jobs on the site are active, most will never hear back from the employers.

I didn't think my job was in jeopardy after being with the same company for 14 years. I was wrong. Hundreds of us, potentially thousands of us across the country, just found out we're losing our jobs.

I’m a business owner and use indeed often. Earlier this year, indeed changed how it charged business owners and now it costs a lot more money . So everyone is cutting back.

Politicians will hand everything over to corporations for "jobs", but when the corporations cut jobs massively, the politicians are nowhere to be found.

Really the only way to get a job is to network. If you’re introverted or a little weird this is a difficult barrier to overcome.

I’ve been looking for a better job for over 3 months with a solid resume and NOTHING. One interview in the whole process. Never had this problem in the past using indeed. Definitely disheartening to know we’re sinking deeper no matter how hard we try to stay afloat in this country anymore. I want out

After I lost my job, I had to take jobs with a much lower salary. It's almost impossible to find one that actually pays well now.

There's no work out there, its all dried up. I get a lousy 15 to 20 hours a week at my job, and thats if I'm really lucky. I'm also self-employed, but sales were so slow with my e-commerce business this past year that I'm now being sued over a business loan. Inflation is the highest its ever been in my entire lifetime, and from the looks of things its getting worse with each passing day. Its absolute sticker shock at the grocery store right now.

i work at another large staffing company and we had to lay off quite a few marketing and operative positions also. its not good right now. the only positive about the current economy exists in the imaginations of politicians.
