Indeed is TRASH! What are some good job search sites outside of Indeed?

In this video, I share my thoughts on how to search for jobs when you're over using Indeed. I do not think like the Reddit poster, however, I do agree that there are better job search sites over Indeed.

Others include Glassdoor, Flexjobs and SimplyHired. For freelance work: Upwork and Fiver are best.

I also offer some other ideas to help boost your job search to find the jobs for you.

I've wasted too much time on Indeed. I'm completely qualified and experienced for my industry that I'm applying for, and have gotten 0 interviews after sending 100+ applications through Indeed. The last time I had to look for work was 5 years ago and I can honestly say something has changed for the worse for job seekers.

I been rejected more than 10, 000 both remote and in my town, It's crazy cause 97% of them just ghost me the other 3% call back but are scams.

So many fake jobs on indeed, I finally found a good job after getting rejected over a thousand times, FOR ENTRY LEVEL JOBS. I wish I was exaggerating.

Completely agree indeed job search is garbage.. whatever happened to walking into an establishment and filling out an application.? Filling out applications online is very impersonal and I feel is a waste of time..

I've been applying for jobs on Indeed for a month, and it's just a black hole. No response back from employers. I did have one job interview, then nothing.

Tell me about it. I always get the automatic "We feel youre the perfect fit for this execute chef/line cook position based on your subway experience"
Subway experience is NOT enough for Line Cook experience. However, i do have a culinary degree and 10 years of experience yet, that is never the reason i am fit for those jobs, they take fast food experience more than the actual experience you need.
I dont apply to those automatic job offers anymore, because they just send you an automatic message saying "Sorry, this one didnt work out" without calling or interviewing you.

I wish I could go into places and fill out applications in person like in the old days. Im not old, but i was still a child when they still allowed paper applications. Online applications NEVER get looked at by a real person, it goes through an automatic system then if the system likes your info, it sends to real people to get you processed in for interviews.

The system that they created to make job filling easier is actually hurting companies and potential working people. Smh

Their company reviews enable the worse employers. If you've worked at companies plagued with serious issues, the review guidelines prohibit language that describe situations that are illegal.

I haven't tried Indeed or linked in. The last site I got a job from was Monster and that was over 9 years ago. I hear linked in was great. God bless you!

I've been applying on indeed for so many months now and gotten like 3 interviews but nothing else for the past few months unfortunately, I've applied for like 65 jobs and nothing is happening so I'm losing some patience for sure but I'll keep trying and trying.

Indeed is a waste of time no wonder there is a shortfall in the labour market why don't employers advertise vacancies in there place of business INDEED is being payed by companies for doing NOTHING

I left LinkedIn for indeed because it got slightly better results and the search was better.

But now everything is just a void, no response from anyone.
