If someone could fix trucks becoming ice blocks on any tarmac surface after 20 mph that would be wonderful

I wish they would fix trucks sliding off the roads even with high way tires in 3rd gear!!!!

Finally, maybe now it will be harder to get the DMG while driving on the straight road. Thx for video!

the snowrunner developers have already changed the chassis twist of the PLAD, I don't know why they don't do this with all the trucks, it's good that the modders are doing a better job to make this game good

This and the fact that most tires dont seem to have just about any traction against rocks, like sure a smooth rock wont give the BEST amount of traction but trying to get a tire to climb a rock without sliding off without momentum is a pain!

And proper manual gearboxes with appropriate amount of gears!

I wanna be able to change the gears when I see fit, dont know how many times the game decides to upshift, only to stall and downshift into FIRST, making me loose all momentum which at that moment may be crucial.

A frame that twists doesn't crack, a stiff frame cracks. A frame that twists keeps its tires on the road, a stiff frame raises tires up. A stiff frame isn't what you want

the difference is minimal as i can see but its good that modders at lest trying to make the game more realistic. chassis flex is a must have on this game imo

Not a but thing at all, but I guess it's really coded in the game to have rigid trucks. There were a couple of suspension comparison videos to spi tires and there we could see that it's not only the frame, but the wheel movements too and maybe the tires themselfs were softer so the trucks didnt bounce as much, have more grip.

Hopefully they make this mod for console versions as well.

Along with transmission in this game are crap. They so bad, they need be fixed, but dev will never fix it Cus they never driven any real trucks or gone off road. it doesn’t downshift properly like any other car/truck game. Even gta 5 has better transmission. But do agree all vehicles in here feel stiff, unrealistic.

default setting is probably more realistic however for the frame, its unlikely to twist that much without a load and would actually come apart rather quickly if it was able to.

Nice work, its such a shame that this game feels so bad using a wheel..

Keep up the improvements love this game ❤only part that i dont like to much is i need to find the trucks instead of buying them straight from the garage

Due to fucked up physics and weight psrsmeters, this still looks ridiculous. Heavy machines look and feel like toys, jumping and accelerating like Hot wheels plastic crap or something. Comparing even to Mudrunner, the predecessor, it's real degradation on the developers side.
Nice try to fix at least something on your own, but still. This is no way trucks should behave. No immersion due to initial shittiness of their approach to the whole physics thing.

*gone logging in good ol' Mudrunner*

you know what i really think needs a redo in snowrunner? difflock and gearbox. because with difflock engage the tires does this weird jitters? and with the gearbox in spin tires it just feels much more nicer to use imo. especially with how you use the low range mode.

Have you ever drove a lorry/truck irl mate? Chassis ca not be that "flexible" like a gum, those bars are holding the entire vehicle mass and mobile parts, plus its structural integrity, if it would be that "flexible " it would tear apart by its own weight, on one hand older lorries/trucks WERE designed to use frame flex as part of the suspension. Newer lorries/trucks ARE NOT, because Too much flex would lead to metal fatigue, broken welds, etc. So the frame is a maintenance part in order to avoid flexing, precisely, so in summary, it is realistic than having vehicles with duck heavy weight do not flex their chassis bars at all, this cam be apllied to ANY kind of vehicle not just lorries/trucks or carsust stop mocking around with this topic ffs

Bro... I think the frames are made of snowrinium, that's why they won't bend or flex
