How to Fix NVIDIA control panel not opening? In this tutorial, I show you how to fix the NVIDIA control panel not launching on Windows PC & Laptop. This issue can be caused by your having out of date NVIDIA drivers, your NVIDIA graphics card not being services not being properly configured, or other Windows issues. Follow the steps below to fix NVIDIA control panel not opening:
1. Reboot your computer and then see if you can open the NVIDIA control panel.
4. If the NVIDA control panel display settings are still not showing select the Windows Start button and typing Services. Open Services.
5. In Services, right click NVIDIA Display Container LS and select Properties.
6. Ensure the startup type is Automatic and that the service is running. Select OK.
7. In Services, right click NVIDIA LocalSystem Container and select Properties.
8. Ensure the startup type is Automatic and that the service is running. Select OK.
9. Restart your computer.

I'm so dumb. So I've got a GPU tweak that has a "game boost" option that kills "unnecessary services." Apparently, it thinks NVIDIA Container is an unnecessary service, so it stopped the service. If anyone runs something that kills "unnecessary" stuff, this might be the culprit.
