This was super helpul! Thank you so much. Incase anyone wants to get rid of the black bars, you can do that from 'edit' in preview in the latest version of on iOS for mobile. The crop option let's you do a custom crop.

Hi Is it possible to do the reverse? I have Horizontal video i would like to make into tiktoks using iMovie but have the top and bottom blurred video instead of black bars and export as Vertical video, thank you

Hey, only problem: I notice that your original video with the black background shows 20 frames below is WITHOUT the black background, where your video at the upper right HAS the black background around it. Please help me 'cause I'm running into problems

Hahaha, not what I was looking for but entertaining none the less. iMovie keeps freezing on my iPad Air which is annoying so I’m trying to solve that problem. I don’t have a Mac otherwise I would just use that. Anyways. Cheers
