Sony FX6 Prores Raw | 4K HDR

A quick shoot I did to test the benefits of the FX6's internal XAVC-I codec versus external Prores Raw.

If your final delivery is SDR content, then the internal codec is more than enough for grading with little benefit over Raw.

However, for HDR content, the internal codec should be avoided for several reasons, and Raw is much more preferred, which I can dive more into in a separate side-by-side comparison video.
