C27 CRESCENT NEBULA | an amazing nebula in Cygnus | LIVE VIEW PHOTOGRAPHY THROUGH TELESCOPE

Показать описание
The Crescent Nebula or Caldwell 27/NGC 6888 is a nebula in the constellation Cygnus. It is a Brilliant target for all size telescope, beginners and advanced amature astronomers alike, throughout summer. it passes over head, but has begun to rise high in the east in the early hours. It is a fantastic target for the nice warm nights, for both visual observation and astrophotography, I used my 8 inch Newtonian with the Panasonic Gh5 to gather the data for the live view as well as the light frames for the photo. I ran at 400 ISO 180 sec sub frames.
Visual observing is easy once you locate it and rewarding with this target as it is a great test of seeing conditions, and you can tease out detail as you get familiar with it over the months and years. it is possible to resolve the faint wisps around the stars on a great night of seeing. with a bit more aperture the "euro sign" can be seen. with my 12 inch I was able to use low power eyepieces on it for the best views.
I hope that these videos can give you an idea of how the night sky can look at the eyepiece of a 200 PDS, 200p, 300p flextube or any 200mm 8 inch or 300mm 12 inch reflector telescope and using a DSLR or Mirrorless camera. I find when trying to purchase a telescope, it is hard to find out what you can see through the eyepiece .
