Your image of the Crescent looks great! I like your broadband image too, I remember doing it a long time ago in broadband. I should try it again.

Linda, I really enjoy your discussions of these deep sky targets that pull in the science and history behind them. Thank you! And a special thanks for your video on processing flat darks, which is how I discovered your channel. I'm getting comfortable with broadband OSC imaging, and starting to get the itch to go LRGB and narrowband mono, but find the learning curve a bit intimidating as far as figuring out how to organize and process the extra files. Keep up the great tutorials!

Fantastic images and overview, Linda. Really enjoyed the astronomy details and am a fan of this target as well.

I thought you did a lovely job in this Linda, the names make much more sense like you say when considered from a visual perspective. Thanks for the information and overview.

Thanks Linda - great rundown. We can't see it from down here so it's nice to get a decent look at it and know where it came from.

First few times with AP, I captured the Cresent. This past summer I snagged the nearby Soap Bubble too, in a wider field. Very exciting!

Good episode thanks. And nice image. My attempts are still too star heavy even with star reduction. But I've learned some new PI tricks and I'll have to have another go at it soon! Clear skies

I really appreciate this. So many videos are so focused on imaging technique and equipment that we lose sight of the science behind these objects and what they really are. I had to sift through a hundred videos to find this video explaining what the crescent nebula actually is. Of course I could start with wikipedia but that's boring.
