Here's a tip. if you have another device there. click it and re-click the mic you record with. In mine, it showed my mic working but not in audacity. I have Nvidia broadcast so i click that and re-clicked my mic.

If you are using a Zoom H6 device (or presumably any of the Zoom audio interface devices) I found that the line out had to be used instead of the USB connection in order for the microphone to work.

when I put my Audacity in MME the focuserite option for recording bass tracks did not show ...its a white block ...do you know how to correct it?

The device I'm trying to use is a Rybozen USB Cassette Capture. Computer apparently doesn't "see" it.

respuesta es abrir el programa darle en el boton rojo luego te vas a y deshabilitas el microfono lo vuelves activar, cierras auda, lo vuelves a abrir y listo perfectoo

Dude my pc is a Acer Espire es14 and It have only one headphone jack and I bought a Fantech Echo MH82 headphones also with only one jack, and the audio doesnt work with playback nor recording,
