I’m from amarillo texas and I actually work at a local restaurant that Mr. Funk would visit from time to time. I have a picture of him with me in a headlock he was so humble when he’d talk to me, he made me feel awesome talking to me telling me some amazing stories. A couple months ago, I began watching the Attitude Era for the first time. Having heard Terry’s name before, I was excited to see what he was about. His matches with Mick and the New Age Outlaws showed me a man who was skilled in all aspects that it takes to define a superstar. RIP Terry Funk, you were one of the greats; a legend who shaped the business.
