I worked as Midnight in WCW with the Harlem Heat and I remember Kevin as a kind man.
I am sorry to hear of his death and pray he rests in peace.

Rip to one of the better wrestling minds out there from the Golden times of wrestling.

For younger fans, I encourage you to watch 1982-1985 Florida Championship Wrestling. In particular, start with the Kevin Sullivan heel turn as it was the payoff to an angle regarding a mysterious figure named “Nivek Navillus” who had been sending threats to the babyfaces for weeks. It was the most innovative wrestling product at the time that influenced ECW through introducing hardcore wrestling and the Attitude Era and even Triple H’s booking through more violent, more mature and slow burn long term storylines. Without the Sullivan Army, there would be no Wyatt Family (Bray cited Kevin as one of his greatest influences).

We respect you. Bookerman.

People often blame him for the bad booking in WCW in the late 90s but forget how great the booking was for the first 1 1/2 year of the nWo storyline and how hard it must have been working with all the big egos backstage. R. I. P. Taskmaster

RIP a true genious of the industry and a man that wasn't afraid to do anything even if it would mean that some people would threaten his life... he lived pro wrestling and he lived for pro wrestling ❤

It’s sad that there aren’t that many wrestlers from this particular era of wrestling left. And what is left is rapidly dwindling as we speak and very soon there will be nothing left of that era at all. And that my friends will be the true end of an era. 😢

A man that loved what he did and was proud of his craft. From the Army of Darkness, to the Varsity Club, the Gamesmaster and then the Taskmaster, you were always a good heel against the current babyface. RIP

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I enjoyed the Dungeon of Doom. It had that campy Batman villain feel to it.
