All nursery rhythms have dark stories to them. Back in the day parents would tell stories of heinous crimes to their kids at bedtime to scare them so they'll listen and not do things that can hurt themselves(u know kids), they just changed the story a bit to make it less scary and to also they won't know the truth. And slowly it becomes songs and gets passed down. Thats why whenever i hear the words "nursery rhythms" i always get an eerie odd feeling
