I show you how to remove and clean the Vanos and to replace the rings, which can be a common oil leak spot.
BMW's VANOS stands for Variable Nockenwellen Steuerung. The VANOS is incorporated in the engine, where they focus on controlling the cam gear, which also has a mechanical link to the exhaust gear by a chain.
By varying this cam the motor can optimise depending on RPM and other figures.

This oil also is great with newer BMW's with stop start technology as it clings to parts longer.
