He knew he’s advisor caused all this war, all this confusion between to kingdoms, killed off innocent lives, Hal’s own family died off Hal even killed his own cousin because of this conspiracy doughted his friend Jhon strategy in combat and lost him aswell then finds out the truth from his future wife that her father never had a problem with England and it made Hal look like the littlest thing such as a ball made him look like a child to he’s own kingdom by engaging in a war without two kings addressing one another to see if it was an insult or even given from the king of France by all means Hal FINISH HIM!!

Gascoignes actor is so good you can allllmost believe his "this is what it takes to achieve peace" speech. just almost.

I had a bad feeling about this guy throughout especially since the movie did a really good job of portraying Hal’s suspicions towards everyone. But I will say the boat scene at the end threw me off. It seemed like a genuine conversation between him and Hal so it got me thinking okay maybe this guy is someone he can trust after all. then this happens 🤦‍♂️

Not only is the soundtrack fitting, this ending scene when the clouds part and Hal finally see's how he has been hoodwinked all along is the best scene of British cinema i have witnessed for decades, by two fantastic actors, speaking with such period English (apart from the "Fucking stop" part - - that word was not around then - tut tut but is still cool suppose it brings it up to date) - just a brilliant scene.

So any other actor and I wouldn’t see this coming but literally everything I’ve seen him act in he’s been either creepy, untrustworthy or evil 😭. This is the same guy that starred in the movie possum which is one of the strangest movies I’ve ever seen 💀
