This scene is beautiful. Viola's gaze is so intense I thought she was gonna give Thuso a kiss... A mother finally getting to hold her long lost daughter in her arms and a daughter finally acknowledging and accepting her mother and her truth. Viola Davis is an incredible and phenomenal actress. Nanisca and Nawi complement each other beautifully. I'm addicted to watching the woman king!!

"Mother will you dance?" That line gets me in tears everytime I see this movie, love this movie all the way and it tells and amazing story, These two are amazing and have an amazing unbreakable bond ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I loooove the ending! The three women standing there: The mother….the friend who gave her away like mother wanted her to…and the grown baby whom they had given away. That ending scene is just so powerful to me! I loved this movie and it is now my favorite! ❤❤❤

This is my FAVORITE movie EVER!!! Viola Davis, is one of the BEST actress I have ever seen and deserves an award for whatever she plays in. The ending is by far my best😢😭😭 HAPPY TEARS. The entire actress/actors were AAWESOME .👏👏👏❤

Controversies over historical accuracy aside. The movie was simply phenomenal. Loved it immensely. The picture starts out with a disclaimer that the movie is based, underline on s true story. Since when hasnt hollywood not taken creative liberties vs actual factual events. I loved this film.

I cannot stop crying everytime I see this scene. It was so beautiful and so emotional. I am saddened by the fact that white hollywood would not give these beautiful lady's an Oscar. The direction, the music, the dancing, everything about this movie was beyond excellent. It is sad that this movie did not garner the recognition that it deserved simply because it was an all black cast with a movie about fighting against slavery, and empowering women. This will forever be my favorite movie.
