I want to mention that JSON is a frozen specification and will never change over time. The first version of the standard is its last version. Also, put a comment field and you will get all the comments you need...

Also, I'd urge people to be mindful of how big their JSON-files are allowed to be. Some 12 years ago I and a fellow developer sent content to be displayed in a Flash application via JSON and the JSON package swelled over time to be megabytes large. That did not go well.
