What is Web App Interoperability?

How do you send information from one program to another? This is called Interoperability and JSON is a popular way of doing it. We used JSON within the context of a micro-services design pattern to extend the life of the StudioWeb 3 program.

All fine and dandy, as far as the JSON message itself, but, how do you figure out what to send each program? And, certainly, you have to modify an application, to handle the JSON. That is the issue I'm having with VScript.

I was going to ask you about them in the Killer Sites Forum. This new code editor, VScript, uses JSONs to launch and troubleshoot programs written, without having to leave the IDE environment. I wish you would have posted this earlier. Really, it looks like OOP.

I think AJAX originally used XML as the data exchange structure, which I thought was weird since it's a JavaScript library. Of course, you don't have to use XML with AJAX though.
