One nice thing about using JSON is that it doesn't just mimic your data structures and design. It IS your data structures. You pull the JSON out of a Ajax call, and put it to instantaneous use without modifications. Also, if you're using PHP on the back-end, there's a single call that turns it into PHP data directly. Easypeezy.

In my own experience XML is still the standard for larger corporations because of the overhead of validating json and because of legacy compability.

That's why I watch your videos. Now, I'm interested in Svelte.js. Will learning and using it solve my problems? No! It's not about software; it's about people.
