I used to live in Valencia years ago. While I was there, I did not bother to learn Spanish food as well as Valencian dishes though I tried paella and tortilla de patatas. Lately, I have a child, and have to reach out other recipes to diversify his meals. I learned to cook several spanish dishes from your channel and my son is really receptive and appetite with spanish cuisine. Thank a lot for your detail recipes.

You, Sir, know how to cook shrimp perfectly! Paella is a favorite at our house, and this recipe did not disappoint. It was so easy to assemble and cook. There were no leftovers even though we doubled the shrimp and only two people sat down to try your tasty dish. Much thanks!

I road tested this tonight. I bought La Cuna paella rice and followed the recipe. This is a RIP SNORTER !! It evolved as did the Maestro's video. La Cuna have an 18 minute cooking time for their paella rice. I have Spanish friends and after seeing the pics of the meal I am now getting streamed Paella Porn. You know the drill: That's not a paella, THIS is a paella!! But for my money this is a brilliant bit of work. Insightful cooking and marketing. Respect from Bondi Beach, Australia.

Thank you for the recipe. So simple to do. Saffron made the colour and we managed to have some socorrat. This paella was made in windy condition, outside temp 8 C with love.

I made this today and ir turned out SO GOOD! Thank you for the detailed measurements and step. You’re the best recipe channel I’ve seen on YouTube. I followed all the steps down to a T, including the times for cooking each ingredient. I added a few extra shrimp but that did not affect the cooking time. I also let the rice rest a bit longer since we were not in a rush. ¡Deliciosa!
