I had to look up this video because I noticed that the boot name seemed to have been changed from titan to hero recently. I think the new name fits.

One thing to note is the tongue isn't gusseted. I wish they would have done that. Otherwise, it's a great boot. The sole is very grippy even on ice and snow below zero Fahrenheit.

I wonder why reviewers never mention that the tongue is not gusseted. That's a big factor when talking about water resistance.

I have the thursday legend which has the same sole as the titan, just is a chelsea boot rather than lace-up. They work pretty well in rain and light snow. I think the best thing about thursday boots is how inexpensive they are while also looking nice.

Just got my matte black titans and I think they look badass I like the more slim look to them compared to timberland. Will be getting the brown ones eventually

Just ordered a matte blacks pair yesterday, with some Green Kevlar laces! My 3rd pair of Thursday boots. I like the switch from wearing mostly Timberlands back in the day. 🤣

They wanted to take after Galibier Super Rando style and they succeeded. The leather isn’t as thick as the old school adventure boot and with that said, it fares well in the outdoors.

If Thursday gusseted their tongues I would own a half dozen pairs easily. Add a gusset and increase $15.
YouTube boot reviewers need to start calling them out on it.
It is the literal make or break feature for many people.

I wanted to make the Titan my go to winter boot. I ordered my usual size in waxed cacao. Left foot fit great. Right foot, one of my toes kept getting pinched and it bothered the hell out of me for some reason. My only option was to upsize or return. Wasn’t sure about how upsizing would affect my left foot’s fit so ended up returning unfortunately.

I’ve heard Thursday has started to make their Captain boot just a littleee bit wider now. Hope they expand that change to the Titan because for what you’re getting, and especially that striking two-tone look of the waxed cacao, $200 for these are a great value.

I wish they'd offer more wid width boots. I can't wear anything thats standard width because of my hobbit feet, and they only offer 4 different models of wide width boots on their website. Not counting different leather colors.

As a first boot by Thursday which would you recommend I’m particularly attracted to the Hero in Waxed Cacao, Vanguard in Waxed Cacao, or Stomper in Black Cherry

Hey you didn’t mention this but the my waxed rough out titan has a leather midsole which a huge difference from any other lineup they offer and feel like it is a superior boot because of that.

Just got the Hero (Titan) lug sole...the padded tongue is nice, but beware, it is squeaky. Hope that goes away after mileage. The lace system is not an issue, as I thought it might be for me. I did not size down and they are perfect and will take heavier socks as was my plan. Look great with the new last. Winner chicken dinner.

Unfortunately, they don’t offer a wide version 😞 Also, an 8 inch option would be nice for a cold season boot.

Is it more narrow across the ball of the foot than the president or captain despite having a rounder toe box? Thinking of picking up the Cacao Titan. The US 8.5 presidents fit me like a glove so I kind of want that same fit. I'm a 9.5 US brannock.

Does anyone have the stomper? It appears to be the same as the titan with a side zipper & different leathers.

I would have liked to see speed hooks on the four upper rows. I know its an easy fix for a cobbler but why should we go that route. It’s the same downside with the logger, especially with its tight row spacing for the eyelets.
