With winter coming, can you do a series into winter boots? Insulated boots with lugs for snow. It's really hard to tell what is cheaply made when serious winter boots have such a msrkup to begin with.

Can you do a what’s inside on motorcycle boots? Would love to see how they’re constructed!

I can say firsthand, I haven't watched the video but I own these boots. I've worn them pretty much everyday for 3 years. They're on their second heel. I wore through the original heel pad until it was flapping off. Additionally, the leather in the heel counter area inside I have worn through. I use them to work on trucks, ride motorcycles, chop firewood, off roading etc along with everyday use. I condition them before every winter as we get snow here. Awesome boot, and I'll continue to wear mine until the upper fails. If you're interested, I could send some pictures of them if you'd like to see what hard wear has done to them over that time.

Thank you for removing the laces instead of slicing them this time! I really appreciate your channel and the education it's providing me about footwear construction. Keep being amazing!

Recently picked up a pair of Loggers (thanks largely to this video) and I'm happy to report they seem to have made the top lift thicker and given it lugs, probably in response to this video.

Back when this channel was young you used to tear apart one of the boot halves and always commented on the individual quality of the parts…stitching, leather, sock liner, etc. Can you do that again? I think it’s really interesting seeing how easily a heel block pops off or how many nails are used in the construction.

I got the logger based off this video and after about a year of use I gotta say this boot has been superb. As shown in the video, it handles wear and tear very nicely and the scratches do add some nice character to color of the leather. They took about a week of pretty heavy walking to break-in but are now very comfortable and fit well. Speaking of fit I would recommend a half size down from what you typically wear in sneakers. The only minor gripe I have is that I had an aglet on the laces break within about 2 weeks of purchase but thats small caveat in an otherwise great boot.

Where I think the Thursdays Logger really excels is for a dress boot that looks the part of rugged.
And while I own many of the real work/rugged boots, I've been looking for something similar I could everyday wear for time at the Office.
Thursdays Logger is a winner for me.

I love how objective and informative these reviews are! So many reviewers will never go this in depth on products as it's just not worth the time and effort. This genuinely has influenced on what I want to buy for future shoes and boots. Bravo to the class, style, and meticulous effort to do all these tests. Reminds me alot of tech channels that really stress test their products while also give their objective opinion on the products. Nicely done and can't wait to see more reviews!

Love this new model. Definitely will add it to my wish list.
Also, thanks for removing the laces before cutting the boot.

I love seeing the quality and care Thursdays put into the build. I was wondering about the women’s collection since you did a couple other women’s boots to see if there is a difference in quality. Great video!

Hey weston! It'd be interesting to see what's inside "hunting" and winterized leather boots, like the irish setters by example!

Damn that’s really interesting. I’ve never been too impressed with the look of the1000 mile boots But to see that the American made Thursdays are just better built is crazy

I really love Thursday boots. Whether they are made in Mexico or USA, they are excellent boots at a very reasonable cost.

I just received these exact boots today. I've been wearing them all day and so far, I really couldn't be happier. I will say, as I'm sure you know, Thursday is using their own outsole now and the current top lift is lugged and twice as thick. Great boot for the money. I'll be buying more.

I have had these boots for a year, they’re holding up very well. I did have the front of the sole start to split, so I reached out to Thursday and they sent me a pair of Presidents for free.

To repair it, I cut up a business card, dipped it in loctite and was able to pack it in. I haven’t had any issues further.

Most likely going to get the HERO boot in that sick mustang colorway!

Could you try puncturing the same hide of leather from both sides? I suspect having to push through the intertwined fibres of the flesh out side makes it tougher to get to/break through through the grain side, while on the other the hand if you slice through the grain side, that fibre structure falls apart, possibly explaining why rough out would have a greater puncture resistance

Just got a pair of Thurday dress boots. Best dress shoes I've ever had. Broke them in during a work trip in England walking 2-3 miles on cobblestone and slate streets/sidewalks, and my feet never got tired. Really worth the price of entry.

Wow, this is the first Thursday boot I would consider buying. $285 is extremely impressive for the quality of materials, and I despise over-reliance on synthetic materials.

I like the look and value of Thursdays. I've owned two pairs, but I ended up selling both because they are just super narrow and I never could get them stretched enough to be comfortable. I even contacted them about sizing before ordering and just never could get them comfortable. It was a shame.
