Arcane is the only piece of League Of Legends media I ever consumed. I literally didn’t even know it was based off of League until I was told. Such an amazing show you don’t even need to know anything about the games to enjoy it.

You don’t know the lore, it is riddled with incorrect statements (dark stars, skin lines, not having a main timeline before arcane, lol’s lore being tangled up in general is just wrong)

The void is not a "Multiversal" thing, it is just contained to the one universe, and wants to consume that universe. Not EVERY Universe. Same with Dark Star, it is not canon to the main story-line, nor will it ever really be relevant. The Main Canon has an established universe that does not interact with the others, this includes the Void not going into other universes.

I'm not gonna lie this is the first time I saw a theory and went 'oh- oh no...' just based on the thumbnail and title, still havnt watched the video through but when I peeked at the comment my fear was right- it sounds like this ones not all that researched :, D Think i'll sleep on this one...

I appreciate you doing a video about Arcane/League of Legends, but maybe contact a League Youtuber before you post it. Lots in here is outrigtht wrong or at least inaccurate.
First, Riot made Arcane, not Netflix.
Second, the multiverse as such doesn't exist. There are some skin lines (KDA, Star Guardian, Odyssey/Dark Star, High Noon from the top of my head) which are canon in their own bubble, but separate from main Runeterra lore. The Void is THE threat to existence in Runeterra, but not in the other universes. They have their own story and lore.
Third, there are a lot of places and regions on Runeterra that are disconnected from Arcane and still canon, albeit not as developed and refined. Strictly speaking to modern lore Noxus is one of the most important areas, even the timeline puts Noxus' foundation as the year 0. Whatever happens in Arcane is canon, but stuff that happens around it, too (Ruined King sealed, Ryze looking for the World Runes, Ixtal being on the path to connecting with the outside world, the Mage Rebellion in Demacia coming to a close, Lissandra keeping an Eye on Nunu and WIllump to stop the void and many more). They dont have to fit Arcane, at most they just have to not contradict it if they even cross paths.

I do agree that league lore is confusing and needs a serious cleanup, but given the current focus in the company any lore development is very difficult. They had to fight to give Nidallee new voicelines. I pray Arcane will be followed by many more amazing shows expanding the lore of league like a story about LeBlanc keeping Mordekaiser in the Death Realm while he builds his army, Azir reviving Shurima, the conflict between Solari and Lunari, Jax fighting against the Void in Icathia, Ryze vs the Darkin. Lots of cool stuff I hope to see

*Reminder* that most of the skin universes are completely separate (not connected) to the main universe. And NOT ALL are threatened by the Void; in some universes, there is no Void.

Ok so you didn't actually do your research. On release League of Legends had its own NEWSPAPER that specifically canonized the lore of the universe and developed the stories of many of the characters back in the day. You can say it was discontinued and they did like 4 lore revamps, sure, but to say "they basically never had lore until years later" is factually incorrect.

I think you should've got someone that actually knows the lore, like Necrit or TBSkyen for this video. Dark Star is not a threat to Runeterra and all other skin lines are not canon nor part of the "old lore".

A few corrections:
1. Saying League is not known for its "groundbreaking lore" is misleading. It has GREAT lore, there's a ton of people invested in the story of these characters
2. Viktor's lore flip flopped back and forth all the time. It was not as simple as "old Viktor was more complex and they made him a comical supervillain". The original Viktor was a comical supervillain, and then they changed his lore like four times flip flopping his morality.
3. The Dark Star skinline does not want to destroy the multiverse. The skin multiverses are entirely separate and have no bearing on the story, with the exception of Spirit Blossom, which are actual spirits in Ionia that just take the form of certain characters. Dark Star is NOT NEARLY the main villains of the League IP. There is also nothing suggesting that the Void is after the whole multiverse.
4. You are correct that Viktor and Jayce's stories are different, but you're wrong about why. The Viktor we see is the man before he became full metal, so using his current League lore to say hes different isn't quite accurate cuz Viktor hasn't gotten to that point yet
5. The Riot Forge games, most notably Convergence, were mostly created before they announced the unified canon. Convergence also does not fit into Arcane. Ekko is NOT the same character. Ekko in Convergence is League Ekko, NOT Arcane Ekko, and the story in Convergence is about League P/Z, NOT Arcane. The other games have nothing to do with P/Z so it's impossible to say how accurate they are to Arcane, but odds are it's entirely inaccurate because in League lore, magic is a commom practical all across the world, and not some thing that needs to be discovered. Jayce and Viktor look like idiots trying to find "magic" when they can go to one of a dozen different locations that use magic commonplace. This is why the Arcane merge DOES NOT WORK, because they have to spend the entire universe to make it work.
6. However, this does NOT mean it changes the Void or any of the skin lines. As said earlier, Dark Star was never relevant to the main universe. There is nothing suggesting the Void doesn't exist (outside of Jayce and Viktor being dumb and not knowing that Shurima exists). The other skin lines were NEVER relevant to the main story so they are unchanged
7. Bel'Veth is not the empress of the Void. The Watchers are the rulers of the Void. Bel'Veth is just a particularly sentient monster that BELIEVES herself to be the empress of the Void and is trying to overthrow the Watchers
