Jinx is alive. If you slow down the explosion and look at the top right you will see a streak of purple quickly move out of frame. Plus Caitlin puts two and two together showing emphasis on the tunnels that lead out of the hex gate. Then the show ends with a zeppelin flying off which hints back to how the show started with powder saying how she wanted to fly in one. The last frame of the show also says " THE END" in Jinxs art style.

I find it poetic and hilarious that in season 1 on the 7th episode Ekko and Jinx are trying to literally kill eachother while in season 2 on the 7th episode they have a whole ass love story. Really shows how different things could have been for everyone

I stand with the "JINX IS NOT DEAD" community!!!

To a degree, the only characters that "Died" seem to be:
- Heimerdinger(subjectiely, Yordles are immortal/spirits)
- Viktor and Jayce(again, unsure what happened to them)
- Ambessa (actually dead, I think?)
- Jinx seems to have ran away, so she's probably alive
- Vander died, Warwick didn't, as we know he cam resist much stronger explosions (Isha used 3 Arcane crystals amd he still stood), Singed most likely will revive him again and make him fully beast like in-game.

Still, I find it a little grim knowing how a timeline where Vi died, the whole Hextech dream got stopped, leading to peace in Zaun with Piltover, where Silco and Vander were together on terms again, and so many have lived including Mylo and Clagger.

That must be a traumatizing knowledge for Ekko

Jinx is alive, she just walked away so vi could be happy with cait. In the final scene Cait was looking at the maps of the hecgates and there were 3 tunnels in the hecgate and it is alluded that she went through one of those tunnels based on the expression on cait`s face.

That last 30 mins had better action than most triple A films of the last 10 years

remember when younger POWDER on episode 1 season 1, she said that she's gonna ride one of those floating ships and the episode 9 ending we can see a floating ship sailing like silco saids walking away to end the cycle..so I think jinx didn't die rather starting a new life😌🙏

all I can say is that the beauty of this show is absolute CINEMA😭😌🙏

Personally, I adore the theme that Jayce and Viktor present. It applies to so many of the other characters in the show too, and I think it's just a really good message overall. One of Singed's first lines to Viktor is "Loneliness is often the byproduct of a gifted mind". Viktor at his core...feels lonely, and misunderstood. Even when he has a friend who cares a lot for him, he still can't learn how to accept himself. He still can't understand how much he's actually cared for. Because inside, he still feels alone and like nobody fully "gets" him. Furthermore, he is a kind person, who feels a lot of empathy for others, and doesn't want anyone to have to suffer like he has, or worse. He wants everyone and everything to be perfect, peaceful, and happy. However, it is because of his own insecurities and traumas, that his view of "perfection" is so twisted and nightmarish. A world without free will, where everyone is the same, and robot creatures replace humanity. This is around when we might start getting angry at Viktor, and calling him a villain. But when you look at what's going on closely...you realize that what he really wants is a world where he is not alone, where everyone understands him because they ARE him, and where he will never have to worry about being looked down upon or othered ever again.

This then leads to one of my favorite scenes in the whole series. The scene where Jayce breaks his leg and falls down into a cave. Jayce having to struggle to survive in and then climb out of a hole in this completely desolate world while wearing a leg brace and carrying a cane...OH MY GOD WHAT A FANTASTIC METAPHOR. THAT is Viktor's life. Trying so desperately to crawl out from this seemingly inescapable dark, lonely, terrible place. Trying so hard, but feeling held back by your disability, and consumed by loneliness. As someone who has a disability myself (It's mental rather than physical, I'm autistic. But tbh, I feel like this scene can speak to people with all kinds of disabilities/personal struggles) ... that is SUCH a good representation of what it's like. This constant uphill battle. To be taken seriously. To be accepted. To be given respect, accommodations, and equal rights. To simply complete tasks and avoid disappointing others. To learn how to love and accept yourself. To even just survive in a world that at times can seem like it just wasn't meant for you. All the while having to also learn to work with the limitations of your own body and mind so that you don't hurt yourself or others. AND often having to do it all on your own, or at least feeling that way. It's extremely difficult. And yet at the same time...Jayce does escape from the hole. Not by magically curing his leg, but by using tools that help make the pain more bearable. People cannot always be "cured" or "fixed", but they can be helped and learn to help themselves through understanding, acceptance, determination, and in many cases, accommodations like a leg brace, or hearing aids, or medication. Jayce is able to save Viktor because he gives him the one thing he ACTUALLY always wanted. Not perfection. But understanding. Acceptance. Empathy. Friendship. Love. Forgiveness. Genuine help.

Having now finished the whole series. I feel like one of, if not THE central theme of Arcane...is that it's better to simply cherish the few people in your life who do love, accept, and understand you...than it is to try and force everyone to love, accept, and understand you, as well as each other. That will never happen. To be human is to be imperfect. Certain conflicts and disagreements are inevitable. But even still, we do not need to force everyone onto our side. Diversity is beautiful. People SHOULD have disagreements. Perfection should not be the goal, and we don't need some "magic" (or "arcane") solution to all of our problems. It's not worth all the pain and suffering it causes. Instead, we just simply need to hold the people we love close, to have disagreements but still be open-minded and understanding of others, and to learn how to love accept ourselves even with our imperfections. THAT is what makes the world a better place.

the fact that silco would just forgive and forget like that then start a new life in the last drop in the alternate timeline surprised me yet it made so much sense, so if he could just do that then u would wonder how committed he really is in his ambition of establishing zaun if he can just abandon all that just for vander?in the end he's just a simple man.

I think leaving Jinx's fate undecided is genius. And I don't think riot will ever explore what happens to her. Because her fate is unimportant to the story: the most important part is that she let go, of her past, her hatred, and let Vi go so that Vi could be happy. She knew that she would always cause conflict for Vi and decided to make it easier.

- Even if Jinx is dead, we know that in another universe, she is happy and in love with Ekko. We find solace in that. We also find solace that her pain and suffering is finally gone; that she finally forgave herself and did good.

- even if Jinx is alive, we know that she has finally broken free from this cycle of violence. And perhaps will start a new life with Ekko perhaps or by herself.

They will probably say the game's characters are merely in a different universe.

It is sad seeing my favorite series come to an end... But it couldn't of been better. Jinx's character evolved so much throughout the series, from Powder, to Jinx, to a Sacrifice.

4:10 i think you misunderstood Viktor, his argument is not that there is no end of suffering in different timelines, his argument is once you reach perfection and make other beings perfect too, there will be no difference between you, everybody will be the exact same because your imperfections make you... you and there is no way to progress in any direction so your fate is nothing else but _"dreamless solitude"_ which menas life wont have any purpose anymore for anyone therefore _"there is no prize to perfection"_ and that stagnant state would be the end of humanity

I'll believe every bossible theory that states that Jinx survived!!!! I can't take this aaaghagae

Someone pointed out how Jinx might’ve survive based in clues given in the episode:

>Caitlyn investigating potentially looking for Jinx’ whereabouts as she was holding one of the monkey heads while also searching something in the blueprints of the Hexgates that might hint towards Jinx survival where it showed ventilations. Hinting towards Jinx potentially escaping from Warwick.

>If you look closely at the top right of the explosion after Jinx died, there’s a purple glow that dashed from the explosion with Jinx using her shimmer adrenaline to escape.

>The blimp at the final shot hints towards Jinx surviving. As it floats away, the screen glitches out with Jinx’s signature graffitis, hinting that she might’ve left Piltover via blimp, thus completing her dream of flying those blimps. (As to where she might be going I dunno, but it would be funny if she end up in Bilgewater).

You might say this might sound like coping. Yet, I too was hoping Jinx sacrificing herself to save Vi and killing Warwick. However, this is Riot Games we’re talking about. The artists behind the show are certainly talented and cares about heir product, but Riot Games knows the moment they kill Jinx, probably one of their most profitable characters in the game, will be a mistake and they will make sure she’ll be used in future projects that takes place after Arcane (proof? 2XKO).

not only did we not see her die. but we also see a pink streak heading towards the gas vents caitlyn was looking @ in the end. as well as the tie back to the beginning of the show when powder said “one day i will ride one of those” practically the exact same scene minus some characters and set pieces. jinx is alive and walked away, breaking the cycle.

Let me get this straight though, the ending with Viktor and Jayce implies that: 1. In the first timeline, Jayce died in the snowtorm as a child without Viktor to save him. Somehow, Viktor came up with hextech on his own. 2. In that universe, Viktor assimilated everything using hextech and got bored, so he went back in time to hand out runes to random people, hoping one of them would end up stopping him. 3. Jayce turned out to be the only one who could do it, but only if he gets a specific rune to begin with (see the scene where he was given different runes by Viktor). Jayce saw the future in a timeline where he came close but failed. But the timeline we watched was the one where he finally did it.
