I have never touched a LoL game in my life but this series was amazing.

My favorite part, was when silco realized why Vander stopped fighting and turned away from zaun. That silco was offered everything he ever wanted but had grown to care so much about his adopted (forcibly taken) daughter jinx that he was willing to abandon it to keep her. While at Vanders statue he said "I finally understand now" the character development was on point!

I noticed something in the credits. Up until episode nine, powder is the role given to her VA. But by episode nine. It's changed to Jinx signifying that powder is officially no more. Only jinx remains

“Arcane is the type of series you have to have played LOL to enjoy”

Personally haven’t played the game…. And it was still an absolute BANGER

It looks very likely that Mel Medarda will survive the finale as well. She’s seen in her flashback wearing a certain symbol from the lore that may imply that outfit she’s wearing at the end has protective qualities. That, and the fact that the camera zooms in on her gold plates specifically and shows them start to glow just before the rocket hits.

I was able to sympathize with EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER in the series. I wanted them all to achieve their goals in some way. I’m impressed.

I actually felt bad for Silco. For the "bad guy" that means they did a good job

The best part of this show is that it’s not just a backstory of league characters but also a amazing story in its own for those who have never played league before

As someone who knows the Lore and the game.. Despite how it looks in the show. Viktors leg isn't mechanical. It's actually being changed by magic. While yes Viktor will go through augmentation for his "Glorious Evolution". It will more than likely be shown in season two.

But I will say as a fan who's been playing since Jinx was released back in 2013/2014.. Just seeing the trailers for Jinx and Ekko now and seeing the tiny details Riot had been planning all those years ago really hit hard. It really goes to show the amount of time and effort they wanted to put into this storytelling.

I always thought Jinx was still a redeemable character up until the very last scene at the table.

The ending really had me shocked and wanted me to cry. Every councilor member voted for peace until it was too late. And even Jinx accidentally killing Silco proves that she is a Jinx, and it comes full circle when she accidentally killed Vander and her friends even as a child.

For the people that haven’t played the game:
The person to least likely die from jinxes super mega death rocket except jayce, heimerdinger and viktor is mel. She probably had an item on her which is called “zhonya’s hourglass”. you can see this by the gold glow her body gives. In game when the item is used it makes you invulnerable to damage but you cannot do any actions or even move. Kinda like you are stuck in time.

As someone who has never played LoL, no, no you don’t. Very enjoyable series.

I think Jinx is very well written. She’s a very good representation of PTSD. There’s a reason she has it, it’s not glamorized, and we can see how it affects her and throws her off. Her regret is shown and she tries to push it down and ignore it but can’t fully do that.

I have never played any of the games, and I went into this show completely blind. Honestly it was awesome! I was slightly confused in the first two episodes as it felt like not much of this world was explained, but honestly they fixed that over the course of the rest of the show. I really love everything about the show as a whole, I hope they make more of it soon.

I don't think Silco is a bad guy... He is a grey character...
He is a revolutionary man, but is also a crime chief... He truly believed in an independent city, but he created a similar oppressive system of government to control the undercity... He fueled Jinx craziness and abandonment issues, but he really liked her and said she was perfect not even after, but because she was doubting him, showing that he wasn't manipulating Jinx just because, he truly believed everyone would betray her and him (he was surprise when his second in command didn't). He imprited that notion in Jinx mind, not because he was being evil, but because he was also betrayed and abandoned before. I really think he was saying the truth about not betraying Jinx when he was shoot, he was going to die, he didn't need to lie there... And he died saying Jinx didn't need to apologize taking the guilty of her shoulders, unlike her sister, who blamed Jinx for their tragedy
...Also, I love one of his quotes "you are ready to die for a cause but not fight for it?"
I think the moral I'm taking out of this series is: eat the rich

There was also a theory going around for long time fans about how Vander is going to turn into another character in the game: Warwick, mainly due to Warwick’s story being very similar to what happened to vander, alongside many other things that indicate a connection. Such when Silco told vander “I’ll show you what you really are” the audio in the background sounds familiar to when Warwick can sense you ingame and is probably about to hunt you down.

You could honestly pause Arcane at any time and just marvel at the beauty of the artwork. The background. The character designs. And I want ALL the clothes!

I've never played the game but I've always loved Jinx as a character. For this reason I watched this series. And I love it.
