Best Biochemistry lessons on YouTube. This man knows what he's talking about and most importantly knows how to explain complicated concepts. Big thumbs up and thank you very much sir.

Studying for my adult cardio boards. The basic biochem is glossed over in most discussions on lipoprotein disorders, and I can’t for the life of me imagine cracking open Devlin when I have all of Braunwald to go through. This was INCREDIBLE and so detailed and easily contextualized from bench to bedside. You’re a hero among men.

Excellent explanation of a difficult subject...could you do an explanation of the mechanism of statins in the future...do they inhibit VLDL right at their formation in the liver and thereby cheating the adrenals and gonad glands of needed cholesterol ?
also do statins block the formation of CoQ10 in the mevolunate pathway ?
Your method of explaining processes is the best..

Quick question: If the HDL and macrophages will take care of the "bad" LDL, why is it so dangerous? Thank you :)
