You made No mention of any security features or lack there of! What about Telemetry back to the vendor, China? Its not a Tri-band. I see nothing in the specs to match my tp-link!

Sure, send me the money and I'll use whatever router you want :)

Now seriously, my ISP router works perfectly fine and it never gave me reasons to buy another one. You must ask to yourself "do I really need another one? Is it worth the investment?".

I have a TP-Link AXE5400. I needed it for the tri-band functionality.

My Netgear rooter works just fine. When I’m ready to get a Wi-Fi 6e or W-Fi 7 rooter, I’ll get another Netgear. Thanks.

Does this work with cr*p internet speeds because my area is not covered by ultra fast fibre.

I recently saw your video on port master. Can this router perform those port master functions for everything on my network?

A couple of months ago, I was helping a friend change some settings in his ISP supplied router. Unfortunately, he didn't have the user name or password to log in. We had to call the cable company. As it turned out his router's user name was "admin" and his password was "password". Lovely. Probably the same as a few million other customers of that ISP. So, if you live in Canada and Rogers / Shaw is your ISP, I'd suggest logging to your router and and changing those log in details. That's assuming they aren't hard coded in.

Bri are you still on virgin media if so have you put your hub in modem mode and then connected the new router to that?

I'll be sticking to my full Omada setup, these gimmick routers are a joke.

In Germany Fritz!Box made by AVM is the real thing. It is not for gamers thou.

I use the quite old Fritz!Box 7490, most people have switched to 7590 and for the fiber connection they have 5590 Fiber.

Looks like a good router. Pity it's not available down here in the colonies.

I got my R3 last week. The wifi is meh. I got better wifi speeds on the netgear r7800 I had years ago. I am thinking about getting a gl.inet flint 2 and compiling my own builds of openwrt.

Just to clarify for me this router plugs into your ISP router so are you still using your ISP router?

I used my ISP router until recently when the wifi on it started to get wonky so I bought asus router and knock on wood it's been great.

And for those of us, who are not in the gimme-gimme business but rather in the lemme-lemme business; i.e. running servers of different sorts:
1. Can it do port-forwarding?
2. Can it optimize for upload speed?
3. Can it do IPv6?
