People talking shite in the comments. Fergie worked his fingers to the bone to rebuild the club from the late 80s. He worked tirelessly to find the best young talent Britain had at the time and it paid off for him. Giggs, Scholes, Neville's, Beckham and Nicky Butt were at the club for years and were essential to United's success. This talk of big spending is absolute bollocks. United were never the biggest spenders in the 90s or the noughties overall and yet he managed to win title after title with bang average players like Anderson amongst others. He is the greatest. End of.
