Played in a five a side game once with Gordon Strachan on the other team. Not too long after he'd retired from playing. Couldn't get near him 😂 He was unbelievable and he was taking it easy on us too.

Alec Ferguson was a legend in the world of football before Man Utd. The last manager to beat Real Madrid in a European final, Alex Ferguson's Aberdeen.

Hearts missed out on the league, the next week they faced Aberdeen in the cup final. Sir Alex found out Hearts had employed a psychologist to get the league defeat out of their heads. Alex F had the Aberdeen team at Hampden before Hearts arrived and had all the Aberdeen players meet their opponents and say things like ‘ sorry you lost the league’, or ‘ maybe next time’. Stuff like that. Got into the Hearts players heads, beaten before the game started. Genius.

"There's only the one Gordon Strachan, and he is king of them all. When he's on the ball, we all shout for goal, coz Gordon's the king of them all"

I saw Sir Alex at St Johnstones ground in the 80s.The Aberdeen players were walking with the trouble in sight.Little did I know he brought the glory back to Man Utd.

Beckham thought he was one of the best managers he ever had .One of his temper tantrums and his shoe flew of and hit him on the head.
Legend.

Alex Ferguson was a near psychopathic winner, like it was a problem almost lol. Same as someone like Michael Jordan who was addicted to winning and it would drive him nuts if he lost at anything even a card game

For anyone who's a wrestling fan I see the relationship between Gordon Strachan and Alex Ferguson as very similar to the one between Jesse Ventura and Vince McMahon.
