Sir Alex Ferguson on why Roy Keane had to leave Manchester United

Roy Keane left Manchester United after criticising his teammates for a 4-1 defeat to Middlesbrough in 2005. Sir Alex Ferguson said he had no choice but to let him go, otherwise he would've lost control and be viewed differently by his players.
