Relaxed and slow is a no go... the key element is racket head speeeed! You can be relaxed but the swing must have pace to achieve power.

Jibran ive been playing tennis for about 10 years now and consider myself a solid player - i never took lessons in my life and strictly taught myself by watching YouTube - i would day ive watched thousands of hours worth of videos and i got to say your lessons are above and beyond, i would consider it the "secrets" to getting really good at tennis - thanks for content brother! keep it up!!

Yep, I discovered this a while ago hitting against a wall: relaxed/loose, racquet "laid back" a bit on contact (or, slight give is perhaps more accurate), and for me also hitting key areas high in the sweet spot; this increases power. This allows the stroke to be fascia-driven via the stretch-shortening cycle, etc.. It's like the racquet is doing all the work. I can hit all day with much more pace. And strangely also radically increases control and precision. Give up control to gain it. Hardest thing to do. Easy to do against a wall. Hard to do in a match.

Good video.
When I’m loose I feel like I have the best serve and forehand in town.
The hardest part is mental. I’ll try this.

Do you have a video of you from behind rallying or playing? Would love to see how this looks like where there are variety of ball types (short ball, slow ball, high ball, sliced etc)

It's why you play well in practice, you don't care and are loose

Hey Jibran,

thanks to your forehand videos my forehand has improved quite a lot!
Can you do a video about your thoughts on racquet setups?

When you make these tutorials, might as well make them good and show clips of you infront of the camera doing it step by step slowly and in rally instead of talking blankly at the camera. Would definitely help people understand better and make your vids so much better.

This is great stuff, brother

It is too bad you hide it behind hypebeastclickbaitish titles, because it really seems like you are on to something!

I am looking forward to your development both on and off court, keep it up (and remember to breathe)!
