Wow, cooking the ravioli right in the sauce. So smart!

Food eaten in the wilderness tastes delicious.

SUPER-easy thing to make that one might not expect is Korean savory pancakes. Use a pre-packaged cole slaw mix, 2 big handfuls is plenty & some chopped green onions mixed into a savory pancake mix(just a regular mix with some salt, pepper & garlic powder added) with a teaspoon each of soy sauce & sesame oil. You can stir in an egg or two or a can of chicken breast to add in some protein. Just pour em out onto a hot pan or griddle, just like regular pancakes. Easy & delicious! I live in a converted minivan full-time & I have no problem whipping these up!

Thank you for all the great ideas Amanda. I went on my first solo tent camping trip this past weekend in Colorado Springs and I binge watched a ton of your videos beforehand which made me feel very prepared. Your knowledge is much appreciated!

Shoutout for these being actually simple and easy and great for families too. So tired of camp cooking recipes that take like 14 ingredients prepped!

I like to use the little baby bottles of wine instead of some or all of the water in the boxed rice/risotto dishes. I rarely drink it but I love the flavor it gives food (and the alcohol cooks out when simmered). Yum!

For a real simple meal (good for lunch) instead of box mac and cheese I like the Annie's (or Cracker Barrel or other brand) of shells and cheese that comes with a cheese sauce packet. That way I don't need milk or butter when making it and I can keep a couple in my food box as extra/just in case meals.

I love shopping at Trader Joe’s before I go camping! A go to meal is their box of mushroom risotto with sliced up chicken sausage. So easy!!

These are great! I can't wait to try the couscous. A twist on the taco is fajitas. I prep the veggies and slice some chicken at home then cook in the cast iron with a fajita seasoning packet at camp. One pot and so delicious. Thanks for your hard work on these videos and sharing your experiences.

I think you read my mind😁. Literally couple hours ago I told my husband I need to find some one pot meals for our next trip. I opened up YT and your video was right there!
Another great video, as always! Keep it up! 👍😊

Currently prepping for a cross country drive with our teardrop in tow. So many of these meals should help keep costs down and tummies warm for early bedtime.

I love these ideas! It seems like we often stay out hiking and exploring until way late and find ourselves making a late dinner at trail's end before heading back to camp. These will work perfectly for when we are tired, hungry, and in a hurry and don't want to make a huge mess. Thanks for sharing!

Last time I went camping I made tacos (in the rain over a campfire). It was a little stressful without a camp stove but I will say, it tasted awesome! Thanks for these ideas.

Love this video! Please do more! 😂 I struggle with finding meals that will please the whole family and these look so good! I love the fact they use so little ingredients because my husband always says I overpack 😅😂 Can’t wait to try!
