I gotta say as impressive as the device is, their documentation is practically useless for new arrivals. They don't bother updating the interpreted API libraries, evident to the fact that they're still stuck with Python 2 and their tutorial on building a new python library is ancient as well. Do they want people trying out the hardware or not? I'm trying to at least somehow start with C++ and then try to build my own interpreted python library and UltraLeap's dated ass documentation and forums littered with floods of unanswered questions really doesn't seem like the give a damn.

I own one for years, way before the VR headsets were actually almost an essential house hold appliance, yet I have not used it that much. I think you got me intrigued to try again. Do you have example (videos) where you are using it for/with?

When it comes to Mac, the Leap controller software is only compatible with Catalina, nothing later. I am hoping with the release of the Leap Motion controller 2 they will make the sotware useable with Newer versions of MacOS

Yo, great video. Thank you for making this. Very well produced for such a small channel?! I dabble with blender and zbrush and I'm super interested in the idea of sculpting models with hand tracking. I was worried the leap motion was a dead product, but it looks like it's still useful
