Thanks for the info. My concern is really with people getting all worked up about something that 99.9% of us have only seen in videos. Everything we see in the electronic world needs to work out the bugs. People need to give this thing a chance. We all remember the glitches in the earliest batches of game systems. This is quite impressive. I've tested it out at a local store and was impressed. I had no high expectations, so maybe I'm biased. I still loved playing with it and at $80 intend on purchasing it soon.

This would be awesome on tablets running Windows 8. There should be a case with Leap Motion in it at the bottom and you can use it like this. Neat use of it here! :)

I've been using Windows 8 since the developer preview 18 months ago and cannot understand the backlash against the GUI; it works great, especially on touch screens. The Leap Motion will allow me to use Server 2012 in the classroom in such a way as to blow the minds of corporate students. I can't wait for my preorder to arrive.

Deadlytorch. I haven't switched on my desktop because I don't see any reason so far, but I had to install Windows from scratch when I got my MacBook Pro Retina and figured I could try that way. Using Start8 from StarDock to get a more traditional interface back (start menu and desktop), I can't say I have any real complaints and there are a couple things that I find quite nice, but so far it hasn't been enough to get me to upgrade my desktop and I'm generally one for "bleeding" edge experience.
