Leap Motion With Windows

It's what we've always envisioned for Leap Motion — to break down the barriers between people and technology. Here's a video to show you how close we are. With Leap Motion technology, Windows OS is natural, easy, and fun to use. You'll navigate your desktop, browse the web, flip through photos, and do everything you do everyday in extraordinary ways —all with the wave of a hand or lift of a finger.

Leap Motion with Mac coming soon.

So crazy that I bookmarked this 9 years ago thinking it was revolutionary and didn't go anywhere. :(

Thanks. You're an awesome example of how people say something is bad without learning about it first.

And how exactly do you get to do all that? I mean, step-by-step.

I'm sitting here with it on my desk and it is far from being able all that as fluidly as it is displayed in the video. Any hints?

I can't wait for one of these. Every time I see a progress video it looks better and better.

Thanks for the info. My concern is really with people getting all worked up about something that 99.9% of us have only seen in videos. I was just trying to say "chill-out until you have it in your hands or you may be disappointed”. Again, thanks for the info and we all look forward to it when it comes out. Good luck with your work.

Oh wait! I pre-ordered it in August of 2012.
The rescheduled Mid July release seems just around the corner now.

Amazing to see what can be done with Leap Motion and Windows. I hope to use Leap Motion with Windows 10 to see what it can do.

Everything we see in the electronic world needs to work out the bugs. People need to give this thing a chance. We all remember the glitches in the earliest batches of game systems. This is quite impressive. I've tested it out at a local store and was impressed. I had no high expectations, so maybe I'm biased. I still loved playing with it and at $80 intend on purchasing it soon.

This would be awesome on tablets running Windows 8. There should be a case with Leap Motion in it at the bottom and you can use it like this. Neat use of it here! :)

I've been using Windows 8 since the developer preview 18 months ago and cannot understand the backlash against the GUI; it works great, especially on touch screens. The Leap Motion will allow me to use Server 2012 in the classroom in such a way as to blow the minds of corporate students. I can't wait for my preorder to arrive.

Deadlytorch. I haven't switched on my desktop because I don't see any reason so far, but I had to install Windows from scratch when I got my MacBook Pro Retina and figured I could try that way. Using Start8 from StarDock to get a more traditional interface back (start menu and desktop), I can't say I have any real complaints and there are a couple things that I find quite nice, but so far it hasn't been enough to get me to upgrade my desktop and I'm generally one for "bleeding" edge experience.
