Ultraleap Leap Motion Controller 2 Is Here! (Specs, Demos, & Dev Tools)

In today's video, I'd like to show you the brand new Leap Motion Controller 2, which was recently released by Ultraleap.

This device, to be honest, blew my mind after testing it with a few demos and learning that it can be used for more than just AR/VR, which we'll talk about today.

As a summary, we will focus on hardware specs, hand tracking results comparisons between Stereo IR 170 vs. Leap 2, as well as running the new beautiful Ultraleap Aurora hand tracking demo. This video should provide you with a great overview of the power of the Leap Motion Controller 2 and development tools including those for Unity and Unreal.

I bought the first Leap Motion a few days ago but seems like it's pretty useless nowadays. No support for Mac after Catalina and all the examples that I found doesn't work very well.
