To all of my proud Muslim sisters who wear hijab, comment below and tell us when you started wearing it. We are proud of you!

I remember we were on a school camp once and two girls in our class wore hijab, the girls were seperate from the boys so those two girls didn’t wear hijab around us. But the boys would keep trying to sneak in our room and look at the girls without hijab, we told the teachers and we got a whole lesson about hijabs!

Muslim women are required to observe the hijab in front of any man they could theoretically marry. This means that hijab is not obligatory in front of the father, brothers, grandfathers, uncles or young children.

she doesn’t have to tell anyone anything, bc she doesn’t owe them anything. It’s her choice to talk about it just respect her decisions 😊😊

You don't have to explain to anyone what lifestyle you choose, because when others walk around almost naked they don't explain themselves.

They look pretty. That's what always thought as a kid when I saw Muslim women.

I cover sometimes because I think it's pretty, though not hijab style because I feel like I'm choking even with a necklace. Did try it once.
I know women (Christian, Jew, Muslim, etc) who cover for religious or spiritual reasons, women who cover for medical reasons (cancer, roseacea, anxiety, etc....), and those who cover just because, like me. The reasons are as varied as the women. Each woman made a choice and has the right to be happy with it.
As a Christian I've never felt called to cover, but some are and more power to them.

Mom use to wear a scarf to church. That was in the 60's. I guess it was so people would know, "oh, she's going to church."
Miss you mom!

Is it honestly a choice in islamic cultures? That's the question. Ofcourse women are free to wear whatever they want. But under the guise of culture if women are forced to cover themselves up, then there starts the problem. And this problem exists in a number of other non-islamic cultures as well.

If you aren't causing harm to yourself or others around you, there is absolutely no need to explain yourself. I see half naked people freely walking around and they don't get questioned. You covering your hair... least of the problems.

I am Asian and I have a lot of Muslim friends. When they wear a hijab, I don't why they are wearing it. I don't want them to think I am rude. My Muslim friends are kind and friendly to me. I see them like every human beings.

When she did that vid of her “describing” what her hair looks like I was just thinking of 1000 rainbows just spewing out of her head in all directions blinding everyone from ever seeing them in the first place

That made absolutely no sense and I genuinely don’t understand, probably never will but hey if she’s happy then I’m happy for her.

A few of my friends are muslim and after meeting them, I've always been really interested in learning more about the religion, mainly so I wouldn't offend them and so I could understand them more. Finding your channel has honestly been really helpful with that so- thank you^^
