The Drywall Doctor wanted to give a little more basic tutorial for using a bazooka, following up his previous video on actually using this complicated tool. Here you'll learn about: the trap door (most important part), the stopper, and the various gears and cables that make the bazooka run right.

I've been finishing for over 20 years. I recently watched one of your videos where you talked about rolling angles in the opposite direction that you run them. This one simple tip is probably the best time saver I've had in the last ten years. I picked up the roller and rolled two angles and the difference was obvious. I showed my guys and they were blown away the difference it made. THANKS!! It just goes to show that there's always something to learn, especially from someone who takes pride in their trade!

Hi, can anyone help me about my tapetech bazooka. Always when I starting to stick internal corners the paper is empty of mud for about 10 cm and sometimes in the middle or somewhere else is empty for 10-15 cm again. Why? And one more thing is why the paper tape follows me when I starting, not staying there from where I start or I can't use properly the bazooka . Thanks

I like watching your videos. I'm also a taper working from California. I also have that type of bazooka and I love it.

Hi Doc!  Love your videos!  I am in the process of renovating my bathroom and I have put up 1/2" durock aournd my shower area which is fine.  But I've also used durock in the ceiling of the shower aread and around my vanity and toilet areas.  I'm worried I should've used gypsum or greenboard in those areas instead.  Will it be hard to finish durock that isn't being tiled?   Should I take the durock down in areas that are not being tiled or can I finish the durock with compound and paint?  thanks!

What's the problem when the bazooka is not leaving mud under the tape? Driver shaft or is it the wheel? Thanks in advance
