This is the fifth one in the set of lessons on the assessment of total uncertainty in the final result. In this lesson, we learn to calculate the total uncertainty in case of averaging multiple measurements. In the next final lesson, we will be calculating the total uncertainty in case of timing experiments.

Hello, when measuring time in a certain experiment and a stopwatch is used. Do we take into account the human reaction time when pressing the stop watch (+/- 0.5 s) and add to the stopwatch device uncertainty? Or do we just take +/- 0.5 as human reaction time uncertainty?
