I own all guitar brands at home .(Fender, Gibson, Ibanez etc)  But I adore PRS guitars. I think PRS made  the best guitars of the world.

I bought my first guitar a couple of weeks ago and it was a PRS made in the orient, to this day I have not had to touch a tuning peg. Since I am a stone cold beginner I had to make a leap of faith and buy by reputation, and Pauls reputation is impecable. I ended up buying the wrong guitar for my purposes, but I have zero complaint about the quality, workmanship, and finish.

Sweetwater made my dream prs 513 available to me like no other company. It had to be made from the factory to my hands in under 4 months. I received it 11/11/11, and the action is still perfect. All I do is change the strings and clean the fretboard, and I'm good to go. Couldn't of afforded it without sweetwaters financing. Best decision I could of made. Paul is right, they are paying attention to the important details, so try it out. And also trust sweetwater will take care of you.

Paul Reed Smith can convince people that the color of the knobs on a guitar will make it sound different, he is a master salesman ... and he's a decent guitar builder too.

He's so right about the goal being a guitar you can play out of the box. The Les Paul I've been playing had to be taken in the first week to get the nut recut. I don't think you should have those issues on a $2000 Les Paul.

I got my PRS Paul from Sweetwater this week. He is right on, as it came in the mail ready to play. The only thing I did was a small tweek to the tuning that was probably due to the weather here in FL as opposed to IN. Having bought guitars online from several vendors in the past, I can share with you that I have a comfort that my PRS came from Sweetwater and not the others. They have earned my trust. Thank you to both PRS and Sweetwater.

I stumbled upon this video on sweetwater. I've never touched a PRS in my life, but I just gained a ton of respect for them.

"If your guitar is stolen, go to the store...oops, I mean call Sweetwater to buy a new one." Love that!  I am a fan of PRS guitars and have owned a few over years.  I still have one that I will never sell.

Indeed, Sweetwater' web is one of the sites I use for research and comparison before giving thoughts and advices to a friend when buying a new guitar. I always tell them to look for info before buying.

Since the first time I ever saw a PRS spread in MusiciansFriend circa 1998, I was in love with PRS guitars. I’ve played dozens over the years, in stores, friend’s guitars and colleague’s guitars and always wanted one. Why? Because of what he said in this video. Every single time I played one I was blown away no simply couldn’t sound bad on one. Never played another guitar that made me feel that way. Gibson Les Pauls. American Fenders. Played and owned some of those and they were great guitars but never inspired me the way PRS does. I just picked up my first PRS 2 weeks ago. A 2017 CE24. Such a phenomenal instrument. Nobody does fret work like PRS. Every single note rings beautifully. It took 2 years, 2 luthiers and a Plek machine to make my Strat play great and it still doesn’t compare to my PRS. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ I don’t understand the hipster crowd hating on PRS guitars.

I have an SE model, the Dave Navarro model.  I ordered because after looking for guitars for the budget I had, I saw a review from the guys from guitarinteractive.com did about the guitar.  I got it in the mail and that same day I had to play a gig in a bar.  I took it to the gig together with the old one I was going to play.  I tuned the PRS one and started to play at the sound check... I kept on playing the entire gig with it because it felt for me confortable enough to be able not to use the old yamaha.  PRS are great guitars, I wish I had one of the expensive ones, like a P24 with trem.

I'm thinking to buy a prs mostly because they have those original bridge setups that I love and the pick ups on it just sound perfect in my opinion they are better than a Floyd rose guitar with a tremolo floating

My PRS from Sweetwater came in tune out of the box. Didn't even have to touch tune it, though I checked it with a tuner.

They do pay attn. to detail. You would def pass a PRS on to your children. I've really never heard of somebody getting a bad one out of the box. After I get my Gibson ES-335 a PRS is next on my list for my collection :-)
